Assembly Reports are major research studies answering questions identified by Assembly members and agreed upon as important to all. These may include best practices, long-term trends, status of distinct demographic groups, study of specific technologies, or other topics. Assembly reports typically engage two full-time skilled researchers and analysts for roughly two months of focused work.

On-Call Reports are reports requested by individual members, relying mostly on publicly available data. On-Call Reports are conducted as requested by individual members, are delivered directly to the requesting members, and are made available to all cohort members at their convenience. On-Call Reports typically require one to four days of full-time effort by an individual researcher and analyst.

 Inventory of Internet-based Market Research and Surveying Firms, noting scope, current clients, strengths and weaknesses

 Summary of the Lead-User Model of new-product innovation developed at MIT, including notable users, known outcomes, strengths and weaknesses

 Trends in European Population focused on users of consumer grooming and beauty disposables

 Income growth in rural U.S. communities correlated to purchase of productivity software, including ten year history, current state, and twenty years forward


Assembly Soundings are surveys of all Assembly members on questions suggested by individual members. Assembly soundings are managed, upon request of individual members, by I L O Institute staff and results are shared among Assembly members.
