CONFERENCES & ASSEMBLIES
I L O Institute members participate in three membership Assemblies per year. At these meetings, innovation leaders gather for three meetings per year, in groups no larger than 20, to examine key ideas, tactics and strategies; to share information with fellow innovation leaders formally and informally, and to set the Institute’s research agenda.
Notable leaders in corporate innovation will join I L O Assemblies to discuss their ideas and experiences with members, as well.
In addition to our membership Assemblies, the Institute runs one-day events open to invited guests, and to Institute members, throughout the year. Upcoming one-day events include:

Monday, August 11, in London, with Mehmood Khan. global head of Innovation process at Unilever.
Friday, September 5, in Boston, with Alph Bingham, CEO of InnoCentive and former head of pharmaceutical development at Eli Lilly.
Thursday, September 18, in Bangkok, with Mitchell Thomashow, president of Unity College and author of Ecological Identity, and Andrew Logan, Director of Oil and Insurance programs for CERES, a coalition of investment organizations focused on research into the financial impacts of environmental issues. This meeting will be hosted by PTTI, the national oil company of Thailand.
Tuesday, September 23, in Reston, Virginia, hosted by Microsoft's Center for Advanced Technology in Government, with Jonathan Zittrain, chaired professor of Internet Governance at Oxford University and author of The Future of the Internet and How to Stop It.
Thursday, September 25, in New York, with David Gelernter, distinguished professor of computer science at Yale University and author of Machine Beauty and Mirror Worlds. Creator of the Linda programming language (the basis for Java).
Friday, October 17, in Chicago, with Arne Duncan, CEO of the Chicago Public School System.
Thursday, October 30, in New York, with Ravi Dhar, head of the Yale Center for Consumer Insight, and distinguished professor of management and psychology at Yale School of Management.
